REVIEW : 30 days to survive (PC)

Coming on to the story of the game I think it’s well defined and works well according to the theme. The story is defined that the apocalypse as the fault of the human race. Left all alone to survive the world that is completely affected by the infection. And dying of hunger is not the biggest thing that can kill you in this terrible time. The world is full of the walking dead, infected wild animals, not the worst of all not even a single soul around you, and the help is 30 days away is the only message on the TV screen. The game is an Arcade indie project which gives the player a complete ability to indulge in the neighbourhood full of danger. According to developers, the game offers 2 logical endings either by surviving 30 days or by repairing the boat and by sailing away to safe land. You have to decide either to flee or to survive. The plot of the game is not the main part but it’s the way of passing the game. The game has only one goal to survive and escape this place. It’s a typical survival game n which you have to keep an eye out for fatigue, hunger, supplies, etc. The game offers some key features like the change of day and night, different types of weapons, multiple storylines, etc. Also, the game offers 35 different locations 8 different mobs, and what’s even more impressive that the skin colour of some is different and a jukebox that has 10 different audio tracks and a survival book that can guide players. The addition of Videos in the game at the start and end is really good and also at the times when the player dies. At the time of saving or loading the game, the environment does not change.

REVIEW : 30 days to survive (PC)

Currently, the game is in early access and it’s been in early access for like 8 months and the developers have given the reason why! According to the developers, the game still needs a lot of improvement and will help the developers to identify what the players need and what things should be improved. And I think it’s a good idea like they are trying to understand what players need. The User Interface of the game is simple and good. You get a health indicator, a hunger indicator, energy, and when you are using armour an armour indicator all of these are on the top left corner, and all these are constantly changing with the conditions. Players can restore their health just by sleeping in their tent. Plays can also use weapons like shotguns, pistols, machine guns, grenades, Molotov, and many more. The game offers players to be fully equipped to fight zombies. Coming onto the zombies each zombie has different abilities some are fast, some are strong, and many more attributes. Which means the game gets even more difficult.

If I talk about graphics and audio of the game it’s quite good. The graphic interface of the game is quite simple like Minecraft and it’s working well for the game. The minimum requirement to run his game is Athlon 2 X3 450, 1 GB RAM, GeForce EN9600 GT graphic card, and 550 MB of storage space. While the optimum is AMD fx6300 processor, 2GB Ram, GTX 750TI, and 1 Gb of storage space. The game works amazingly on high setting with ultra-high 1080P and 60 FPS with no lagging in frames. And the music of the game is working in its favour. The music changes according to the situation you are in. and this is a great effect. But I think there is a need for more addition of songs.

REVIEW : 30 days to survive (PC)

If I talk about the bugs there are many like the game crashes after death, Canned food that you will eat will only affect the energy bar but not the hunger bar which I don’t think is fair or makes any sense, also sometimes you will be picking up some weapons that will bug your inventory to the point of crashing the game. There are many other bugs but they are constantly being updated and improved. The attributes of players go down very fast and I think there is a need for a melee weapon at the beginning of the game. Which will help the player. As the game is in early access there is a need for content addition. And coming to the plus side the graphics and audio are simple and good.
