REVIEW : Fort Solis (PS5)

Fort Solis is a single player, third person thriller experience set on Mars. The game is built on Unreal Engine 5, and it excels with it. The game is glorious to look at, and that’s saying something, with a considerable chunk of the game being set in dark and gloomy corridors, or the windy and dangerous surface of Mars. The game has an outstanding cast of voice actors who deliver their lines with great skill. However, the game doesn’t completely deliver on the thrills, nor in the story and for a title not entirely rich in gameplay, the other elements don’t shine as brightly as a result.

REVIEW : Fort Solis (PS5)

The game’s story is set on Mars in the year 2050. You play as Jack, a security officer who arrives at Fort Solis to investigate an alarm call from a neighboring base. As the night grows longer, events escalate, spiral out of control and Jack finds himself fighting for his life against an unknown enemy. The game’s story is well written and engaging but it doesn’t completely deliver on the thrills. The game’s story is not entirely rich in gameplay but it does have some extra exploration and collecting which makes it more interesting.
