REVIEW : Pizza Connection 3 (PC)

Pizza connection 3 is along awaited game. Players have waited for a long time for this instalment of the series to come out. The game is developed by Gentlymad Studios and published by Assemble Entertainment. The game was released in March 2018. The game was launched only for PC but for different OS like Microsoft Windows, Linux, Classic Mac OS. The game comes from a long series of games so it has a lot to carry.

REVIEW : Pizza Connection 3 (PC)

According to the developers, the game is based is an economic simulation game where you have to run a pizza business and tackle various problems that will come your way. You will be starting as a simple pizza baker and you have to build a huge business chain out of it. In addition to the game is the addition to an already existing and loved series the game features some new pizza topping so that you can be even more creative. The game has 12 missions during which you have to rise as much you can upgrading types of equipment, selling pizzas, and making profits. The game lets you create recipes and decorate your pizza store as you want. There are many locations in the game and you can open stores there as you progress in the game. The game also has a feature of market analysis and market strategies by which you can advertise and reach your audience more accurately. What is interesting is the options given to tackle competition like bribery and sabotage. This gives the game a gangster feel. There is also a free mode where you can decide and control various parameters like start-up capital, competitors, residents in the area, and whatnot.

REVIEW : Pizza Connection 3 (PC)

The graphics of the game are quite good and work well except for few bugs like people are walking one second and the next they sink into the ground, and at times people are walking through walls like an absurd ghost, also the game lacks detailing which is a step back. The minimum requirements to run this game are intel i3 3rd gen processor or higher, 4 GB Ram, Nvidia GT 640, AMD Radeon HD7750, Intel HD 2500 / Intel HD4000, 1GB Vram or higher graphic card, DirectX version 11, and 5GB of space on the hard disk. However, the recommended specifications are Intel i5 5th Generation 3.5GHz, AMD FX 3.5GHz or higher processor, 6 GB Ram, Nvidia GTX 970, AMD Radeon R9 390, 4GB Vram or higher graphics card, and 5 Gb of space in Hard Disk. The requirements to run this game aren’t very high and I think many of the players across the world have these specifications. One of the things that I loved the most in this was the pizza truck, it’s such a nice addition to the game. Players can only have one pizza truck but if you place it correctly you will earn so much and it’s so cool. Another thing that I liked was the pizza creator, it’s visually great, and whatever pizza your design can be seen on the screen so you can see how your pizza looks. The last thing that I liked was the market research system and targeted advertisement system. It allows you to see and forecast your sales and help you advertise right.

REVIEW : Pizza Connection 3 (PC)

Coming onto the negatives of the game, there are a lot of graphical bugs as I mentioned above people walking through walls, randomly vanishing and sinking in the ground. Very little control over how your advertising is targeted, previous titles allowed players to aim it at a specific group of citizens, this more like generic marketing and it appears to have a very little effect. Difficult to grasp data, at end of the day when the information report was shown it was hard to get a grasp over the data which pulls the game back. Very little feedback from guests which is not good so basically you have got to guess why your business is failing or succeeding. The time duration of guests visit is very less they usually within 20 minutes, which too fast. Almost as soon as they order, their pizza is prepared that they eat it in seconds. It’s unrealistic. Previous titles showed them order, wait, the cook made the pizza, then the guest eats the pizza slice by slice, then waited to pay which was amazing but in pizza connection 3 they removed it. What’s more absurd is that if you change your restaurant layout and need to rotate your restaurant you will not be able to do so.

review-pizza-connection-3-pcSo to conclude, Pizza connection 2 felt like players were running a pizza empire with control over everything. Pizza connection 3 will just fell lifeless as compared to its predecessors. Still, I would recommend this game as it's fun and has a lot of scope with a lot of room for improvement. I also think the game should be a little cheaper.
