In MANIAC, players take control of a character that has gone off the rails in life. As pressure mounts from a city turning against them, crimes spiral out of control as players shoot, drive, crash, and explode their way to the nearest level up shop. With loads of upgrades and better weapons available on the black market, advancing to the next round brings more chaos to the unsuspecting (or maybe very suspecting) city.
