REVIEW : The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame (PS4)

Lego Games are quite popular and we have reviewed quite few of them. The main thing going for Lego games is that they are addictive.

REVIEW : The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame (PS4)

Emmet is the protagonist along with his friends just like the movie. The world has been turned into wasteland by aliens and the world of Lego bricks in wasteland style looks amazing. You travel to other worlds as well, finding your friends and making new ones along the way.

REVIEW : The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame (PS4)

The worlds are quite diverse, ranging from asteroid, to town building and kitten apocalypse.

The gameplay is same as old Lego games, same old button mashing to get bricks and money, so that you can create new things. You can also unlock various characters, building and items as you progress through story. You will spend 10’s of hours to unlock everything.

REVIEW : The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame (PS4)

The map is huge and initially you will find it slow to traverse across the map but as you unlock new abilities you will be able to travel faster and reach new places.

Along with main story quests there are other side quests as well but overall everything is pretty straightforward and easy. You will need blueprints for items to clear certain side quests but you won’t be stuck for long. Most quests follow the same idea, smash and build, fairly simple and quite addictive. The humor is top notch as always in a Lego game, well nobody play Lego game for emotional story just for humor and amazing coop.

REVIEW : The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame (PS4)

You will be doing a lot of back tracking to construct objects required in new world, plus to achieve 100% in any world you are required to visit old locations.

Lego games can always be played by everyone in the family. The coop is always fun. This game is a must have for trophy hunters as they are easy to earn.
