STORY

As a result of a natural tragedy, humanity was at the point of extinction. Because of “Large Igneous Provinces,” which are volcanoes that don’t erupt but instead cause enormous fractures in the Earth’s crust to emerge, the lava just begins to bubble out and ooze across the landscape while unleashing masses of toxic fumes, only a small number of people survived. An igneous province’s ability to continue oozing for centuries makes it the most hazardous. These gases propagate globally due to the wind effect, altering the makeup of the atmosphere. The amount of oxygen in the air was decreased by one of these dangerous magmatic gases. Unfortunately, there isn’t much oxygen left in the world. The Oxygen Center is made before it’s too late for humanity.

Thoughts

Overall, this game is easy to comprehend and play, and it does seem promising. Given that they are still working on it, I do believe several aspects could be improved.

REVIEW : Oxygen: First Breath (PC)

For instance, the colours used to gauge energy and oxygen levels had nearly opposite meanings. Contrasting a YELLOW for insufficient oxygen and excessive energy use with GREEN for sufficient oxygen and low energy use can be confusing. If, for instance, one of them was depicted using colours other than green and yellow, it might work better. such as crimson and purple, or something different.

REVIEW : Oxygen: First Breath (PC)

The music that continued playing was a little repetitive, but I suppose that’s because this is just a test with one track playing continuously. The contrast between the resources that are at our disposal and those that are required to construct something would be intriguing. For instance, when we are going to select what we want to build from the menu. And the unfortunate kids remained perpetually still.

review-oxygen-first-breath-pcWith oxygen being the primary focus, it does appear to be an intriguing approach to strategy/management survival games. Hopefully, there will be more activities available when it starts rather than spending a lot of time grinding and accelerating things. Thoughts to ponder!
