REVIEW : Twin Breaker: A Sacred Symbols Adventure (PC)

There aren’t many brick breaker games in the market and one knows what to expect from a brick breaker game. But the developers Lillymo Games has shaken things up for the genre and community itself. With various modes available and the lengthy narrative, the game is held back by one and only one thing lack of options. The game has a story mode which will run in stages and intervals but it will keep you interested throughout. The story of the game is “Earth is still recovering from a decades-long World War that ravaged much of the globe in the early 2300s, with the exception of the isolationist United States that used its strength and prestige not to fight, but to aim for the stars. As NASA generation ships vanish into interstellar space, however only two pilots can find out why.”

Each dialogue segment of the game is like a milestone in the story and this is what makes this story even more interesting. The ending of the game might surprise you so let’s leave out that part for you to figure out.

REVIEW : Twin Breaker: A Sacred Symbols Adventure (PC)

The actual gameplay is quite nice, players have to control 2 or more paddles on the screen at the same time using different keys. Many of you will find it difficult to get used to controlling but with time it will come naturally to you only till the game adds more paddles on the screen for you to control and this makes this easy-looking game very difficult to beat. The game features 40 different levels and these levels vary from one another so that the game doesn’t feel repetitive. Each level contains a few unbreakable blocks and hazards which makes the levels even more difficult as the navigating of paddles gets more and more difficult. Typical brick breaker elements can be seen in this game also like the last unbreakable block but this game also has a timer which means game over once you exhaust all your time. The difficulty will keep on going increasing as you go on next levels but it’s never like you won’t be able to beat the round. There are additional items found in the game to hinder the movements of the paddles and these come as multiple balls, or shorten the length of your paddles itself and what will surprise you that there will be some enemy appearances and 4 boss fights and this is what makes this game stand out from all the other Brick breakers. One of the things that the game lacks is the settings menu and it is a minor bug and I think it can be fixed with a minor update in the game. The graphics of the game are very minimal but it fits the theme of the game. And the soundtracks are good some are too good that they will get stuck inside your head and you will try to listen outside the game as well.

review-twin-breaker-a-sacred-symbols-adventure-pcTo conclude TWIN BREAKER: A SACRED SYMBOLS ADVENTURE sets itself apart from any other brick breaker game that is in the market with its stand-out story mode and also by including some unique systems like navigating multiple paddles at the same time. The game has a nice difficulty curve and it will challenge you and that too in a manner that you will enjoy the game level by level and play this game even to pass the time and make high scores. I would recommend this game as I had a lot of fun playing this game and it is quite challenging.
